Default b20b4 head on b18b1 block

so i have a b18b1 with a bent valve so i’m swapping the head off the old motor a b20b4 with a matching p75 head i got it machined and i was planning on using a b20b head gasket because that’s what everyone online is saying so i just want to make sure because it doesn’t sit right with me can anyone verify?
which head gasket should i use!!!!

I think the rule of thumb is whichever head you're using, get the gasket for that head.

Not when the b20b4 has a larger cylinder bore than b18b1.

Considering that the block determines the bore, that's not a great rule of thumb.

B20B4 head = B18B1 head. Use the stock B20 headgasket.

you guys are confusing me i’m doing the job this sunday so i’ll be good using the b20 gasket when it’s a b18 block and b20 head YES? NO? and any other things i should know maybe thank you!!

That's not what you said and you should have been more clear. Use the head gasket for the block you're using.
