Keyless entry/ door key hole delete
Hello everyone
I had an idea in mind just need some thoughts and advice on it. I had my civic stolen a couple months back but I got it back and now I’m thinking of doing a keyless entry mod and deleting my door lock key holes. If anyone has done it before please let me know and if is this possible to do. Thanks in advance!

That gets more difficult... you would have to have an aftermarket multi-channel alarm system in order to pop the trunk. One would have to custom mount an electric solenoid to pull the factory release cable when commanded by the key fob... deleting the key hole would require custom bodywork.
Sounds sketchy. What happens when the battery craps out with the doors locked? Maybe leave the hatch lock intact so you have some way into the car?

You do realize thieves enter your car one of two ways....break the glass and open the door from inside door handle.....or pry the glass (yes, it will not break doing so) and reach in to pull the lever.
Thank you all so much for your responses! I appreciate it! I am aware of the issue with battery crapping out so I might leave the hatch key. I am also aware thieves can just break the glass if they wanted too hence would be their last resort since there's no key to pick.. I just thought with me doing a key hole delete would make it less prone to lock picks. I'm still doing my diligence to research other ways to protect my car since older civics are so easy to pick locks. I will search in this forum how people dealt with it but I'm still open for advice and suggestion they are all welcome and appreciated! Have a good one! Thank you in advance!
^This.
I used to live in a really theft-prone area (Florida). Had multiple attempts on my sedan.
Here's how it's gonna go. They're going to bust out the window, use a screwdriver/prybar to rip the ignition cylinder off of the column, bust the ignition switch off the back of the cylinder, then use said screwdriver to turn the switch and try to start the car.
With a hatchback that's likely never had keyless entry, there's a smaller chance that they can use a shaved key or otherwise to open the well-worn lock. I've actually tried this on my own Civics but they've always had keyless, so the lock cylinders have hardly ever been cycled and it just plain won't work.
Maybe it's worth replacing your door lock cylinders?
