Fuel pump will prime but no fuel pressure
I'm trying to get my new engine started but what I'm finding is that I am getting fuel to the pump but no fuel out of the pump. It's a walbro running on hondata. It's wired up correctly because it will Prime with key on but if I try to start the engine I get nothing.
Not the pump since when I directly connect voltage to the pump it will build pressure.
Thoughts?

Yeah I pulled the an fitting off the pump when turning over the engine. No go. If I power the pump though I will get fuel. So something with the ECU
Common failure of the ECU which needs to be repaired. If you don't have anyone locally PM me.

It's not am error. The ECU will not "boot", you will have a solid check engine light, the main relay will not engage and the fuel pump will not prime. If you leave the key in ACC for 1-5 mins, depending on how bad the delay is, usually the ECU will come to life all of a sudden, the main will engage and the fule pump will prime and the car will start. It will work fine until you shut of the car again and the ECU is not powered on again - usually overnight

Pump running the wrong way... that would do it. That is a MUCH cheaper fix than replacing the ECU... good find and congratulations.
