Would a bad A/C Blower Fan, stop the A/C clutch from cycling?
My nephew had his a/c stopped working recently and it was initially diagnosed as a fault fan motor resistor. The A/C worked for a bit then stopped.
We diagnosed that the resistor was still working, via a test light going brighter with each click,
Then diagnosed that the motor was in fact bad, by applying a 12v D/C power source.
The question is would a bad fan blower, stop the a/c compressor from cycling, due to some lack of resistance from fan motor even the thought A/C button is on and fan control is on max?
