D16 compression still low on 1 cylinder
I recently bought a 96 civic with a d16y7 that had a leaking head gasket. Checked compression before teardown and had 70 in #1 and 140-150 in the other 3 cylinders. I had the head resurfaced and put a new felpro head gasket on. Motor ran for 3 days and then wouldn’t crank. Checked compression again and it was down in all 4 cylinders. Poured transmission fluid in each cylinder and checked again and they all jumped up to 140 or better. Figured I blew the rings since it had almost 300,000 on it. Decided to just go thru the motor. Bought new rods and ycp dome pistons and a mls head gasket. After putting back together I have 160 psi or better on cylinders 2-4 but only 90 on #1 and the plugs keep flooding out. No gas in oil but car doesn’t wanna crank unless you completely dry plugs and spin it over about 20 times with foot on gas. Could my block be warped?
