B16a / Gsr Turbo Build HELP please!
So I’m very new at this forum page. I’ve tried many times searching up different things but I’ve resorted to making my own post to either ask for some direction to a thread already made or just some help on mine here.
Goal: 500hp boosted street car
I’m currently building a b16a jdm block with a b18c1 Gsr head with turbo. The entire motor is already assembled and timed ready to drop in but I’m still missing some parts. It has upgraded internals already like wisecos pistons eagle rods etc and the head is refreshed as well the previous owner had it making right around 520hp set up as is but I didn’t buy all the parts he had with it so now I’m piecing some together. I’m going for the same horsepower range so I didn’t have to take the motor apart.
what I have so far is
VS racing Turbo gt style 35:82 with a 45angle welded onto it already
Oil feed and drain lines
Vs racing bov
Vs racing wastegate
Bwr top mount turbo manifold
chargepipe
what I think I need still, maybe missing some pieces cause I’m new to the turbo game but
injectors
fuel rail
gages I’m assuming too??
intercooler
downpipe
distributor
spark plug wires
hondata s300 v3
intake manifold
throttle body
Fuel pump and lines
that’s what I got so far. Anyways this is my first post so all help appreciated until I learn this website. Thanks!

That's a big power goal to be asking such basic questions. Not trying to put you down in any way but rather to guide you in the right direction. Have you ever done a turbo build before? What car is this going into?
Yes, it sounds like you have most the mechanical components of the kit together, but still need fueling and engine management. What type of fuel do you plan on running? What about transmission, upgraded clutch and axles to hold the power? A good radiator and high flow fan to deal with the heat?
Start small, get it running on very low boost first. Work out the bugs, take it to a reputable tuner. 500hp is a formidable goal, especially on stock sleeves, and is hardly usable on the street. You will never put that power to the ground.

Oh no worries I came here for knowledge I’m not taking anything personal. Just need some guidance. I have a 1993 civic hatchback si. I’ve rebuilt a stock d series before but never messed with turbos. As far as fuel I’m down to go all out and do the e85. It has upgraded clutch, I need upgrade axels from what you say cause I on out have stock ones, there’s a few parts around me for sale I’m going today for an intake manifold and TB.
