ok, so i satart my new evening job last week delivering pizza, and well, lst night this kid that used to work there comes in in his 99 base model Prelude, altezzas, chrome rims, APC windsheild banner, ans that ghey "type S" **** you buy at auto-zone......

anyways, we got to talking and he wa like "yeah, it's the type S, 210 hp" so i of course come back with "who did your swap"
him "what?"
me "you said you've got a type S, who put the motor in"
him "it came stock like that"
me "no it didn't"
him "what makes you so sure"
me "your ******* steering wheel is on the wrong side to be a type-s"

he got pissed off, then i asked him if he knew my buddy at the Honda deaership, he said yes, i then told him that i too have a Prelude and then he was like "your the guy, the one with the bad *** Prelude with NAWZ??" i was like "yeah, that's me?" he then said "oh, my bad dawg, i didn't realize you actually knew your ****"

damn, so all I need to do is cut the H of my sticker and that will add 15 hp....****, Boost, why didn't you tell me this earlier..

Well, I know of a highschool kid who swore on his mothers grave (and in my face) that he had a TYPE-R Prelude. Even showing him the facts, and that there was indeed no such thing as a TYPE-R he still wouldn't come around and accept it. Poor child. I felt so bad for him when I made him look like a fool in front of his so called "home-boys" and "bitches."

nah... not yet anyways, the Lude is still up on jacks, but will back back next week i hope, i and driving the Teg to deliver pizza, i might drive the Lude a few times just to get some break in miles on it, and to show it off to the other Honda drivers there...

 

Dunno if anyone here is from Rochester, NY, but....I was up at a Honda dealership and there was a CBM 5th gen parked outside with a Type-S badge. I figured he was just a riceboy cos the rest of his car was completely stock from what I could see, including his exhaust. A guy who works there says he comes into the parts department every now and then though, and I don't know any ricers who buy OEM parts for anything....?

 

man you guys think that is bad there is a V6 mustang in my town with GTR emblems on it. The guy that owns it tried telling all the kids at my school it was a real GTR mustang. The sad part of it is most of them believed him. I just want to slap him.

This is refreshing to see.. I am glad you guys are "those types" we have a TON driving oround our campus.. driving civic DX's with altezzas, Heavy bodykits, and wings that could lift a 747, not to mention the Mass quanties of stickers. Oh, on a serious note... What is the purpose of the single wiper conversion? I see it all the time but i dont really understand why, is there a reason for this?

The single wiper conversion requires one wiper arm motor thus freeing up robbed HP that the second motor took up and adding 35whp.

 

yea i dont know much about the engine or the type of stuff people do with cars.. but i do understand most stories.... god i hope i dont look like them idiots..

 

Wow, no wonder why my MG is so slow, its got 3 wipers!! i get rid of 2 or them ill have an extra 70hp!!

Anyway.. cars only have one wiper motor to begin with, there is a linkage (or cable) that runs them both to the wiper gear box.. Seriously though. whats up with the one wiper? Does it wipe better than 2? lower drag coeficient? it cant be worth the cost...?
