Can anyone tell me what is this part on my intake manifold? Looks like something is missing from the top of it. No idea what it is, Thank you.

 

that's the purge cut solenoid, part of the emissions system. it's missing the filter cap, 36138-PM1-G01.

probably not worth the money or effort to replace

So no need to buy it?
My car started to drop RPM to about 200 and slowly die when coming to a stop/braking in neutral. Started to look around, cleaned the TB, IACV and its still happening.
Heard a slight hissing sound from under the soleoid, replaced the little vacuum hose, rpms fixed for a few days and it came back even worse. Im so lost.
