Icon5 Fuse tap going to ACC fuse gives constant power?! (2010 LX sedan)

Hi all, I have a 2010 Civic LX sedan that I just installed a dash cam in (Kenwood A700W), which I also have installed in a Toyota minivan I also own, and the install went smooth except for one part. The dashcam is powered from the interior fuse box using a fuse tap, which I've used in all my cars for various projects, and so I generally know what I'm doing (or at least think I do). I looked at the fuse box diagram in the owner's manual and looked for a ACC fuse that I could install the fuse tap in so that it would only be powered when the key is switched to ACC (so no "parking mode"). I found that fuse 28 and 29 seemed to be good options, as they were for "ACC" (fuse 29, 15A) and "rear ACC socket" (fuse 28, 15A). The fuse diagram is shown at this link (which seems the same as the one in the owner's manual).

The problem is that when the fuse tap is in either 28 or 29, the dashcam is getting constant power, even when the key is not in the ignition/ACC. Am I reading the diagram incorrectly or any owners with similar experiences or any suggestions/input into what I'm doing wrong? The only other ACC I found was for the "ACC radio" which I previously tapped for another aftermarket device (I think the auto-dimming mirror I installed or an aftermarket head unit).

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Under-dash Fuse No. 34 slot (unused) and No. 35 (7.5A) are the ones that would have power in ON or ACC.

Thank you, I'm using a fuse tap on 35 for another device (stereo I think) and 34 is right next to it so won't be able to use it at the same time unfortunately.

Any idea why 28 and 29 get constant power? I assumed "ACC" in the name meant power when in ACC or turned on position but I must be wrong about that. I guess I should check with a multimeter.

I may be forced to use one fuse to power several devices which isn't ideal.

The fuse name 'ACC' acronyms are for accessory component or circuit, not necessarily meaning when the ignition switch is in the ACC position.

No 28 Fuse name is RR ACC SOCKET - which protects the Console Accessory Power Socket Relay (Console Accessory Power Socket) component or circuits.
No. 28 Fuse name is +B ACC - which protects the Cigarette Lighter Relay (Mexico, Latin America), FrontAccessory Power Socket Relay (USA, Canada) component or circuits.

I am not sure why you can't use Fuse slot 34. Littlefuse make fuse holders that can plug in and allow two fuses in one slot.

Ah thanks, that makes sense. I would use 34 but I already have another fuse tap in 35 which blocks 34 from the having a fuse tap sticking out.

Is my only option just splicing the new cable to the existing fuse tap in 35?

EDIT: I tested a few fuses and found that the circuits for the rear windows are not constant power (unlike the front windows) so plugging in the fuse tap there (I used fuse 33) worked fine, only power when the engine is in ACC or turned on. Thanks for the assistance!
