Default P2855 Code

Hey all, long time no see, so long story short, I was driving to work today, and had to jump on to the main road so from a stop to 55mph, and as my car was shifting my cel light came on, me thinking it's the same maf sensor code (fouled o2 sensors causing it, possibly from bad/clogged cat) pulled into work and checked the code, I got the same p0101, but I seen a p2855 which upon further research found its the clutch "a" code, but the odd thing is, it was perfectly fine driving and didn't hesitate or ride the gear too long, even when I had to get up to 5k rpm when getting some speed it had no problems, my atf is pretty dark as it's been for a while, I've cleared the codes and I'm waiting until leaving work to see if it comes back, has anyone else had any p2855 code and if so what'd you do to fix it?

- Cheers,
Jay

So what I did was change the ATF, the ATF in it is very easy to change, and was pretty dark, however, I did get it yet again the other day, is yours like mine where you'll get it along another code? when I got the p2855 code it was shortly after I got a p0101 code, so I'm guessing it's a random code thrown, now however when I get the p0101 code my transmission would kind of glide over gears feeling like a CVT although it's not, very odd, but resetting codes fixed it, my first bet is changing the ATF, it shouldn't be too hard the ATF drain bolt might be a bit corroded, I just sprayed some PB Blaster on it and used a torque wrench just be careful to not break off the bolt, if your's is popping up with the code P0101 code I've already changed the o2 sensors, changed MAF sensor, and just two days ago cleaned the MAP sensor, hope this helps, keep me updated as there's not many forums out here with the p2855 code and/or remedies.

Yeah, Its same. p0101 and p2855 both together. in the history of this car MAF OBD code pop up ended with changing MAP sensor after changing the MAF sensor. now i didn't start the solution because i wanted to have opinions on different forums which i didn't found much information. so i'll start resolving the p0101 first because p2855 might be because of p0101. i have changed the MAF and now i'll clean/change the MAP sensor and later on O2 Sensors if not resolved. please check any leak near air cleaner box and pipes. clean EGR. for p2855 i am going to check the brake booster and cylinder, clutch pressure solenoid etc which i'll be posting here or you can send me your contact/ WhatsApp details via email at dynamictraders.pk@gmail.com so we can discuss more easily.

I haven’t got the code again since cleaning the MAP Sensor, it’s very specific when it wants to pop that code up on particular roads, idk if you get the same CVT feeling when it feels like it glides over gears, reminds me of a CVT anyway, I haven’t had or seen any problems with the master cylinder nor the booster, I’m also running drilled and slotted brake rotors and carbon ceramic pads (I’ve since learned many people don’t like the drilled and/or slotted rotors for the negatives I’ve seen online), I am also running a cold air intake which may affect the MAP or MAF but was fine for 2 years, I am however changing to a rtunes cold air intake this weekend and going to clean the throttle body, I’ll post if I get the code again. 🙂
