2020 Pilot no radio, cruise and 11 codes
Hello, I recently purchased a 2020 Pilot with 5k original miles that was what I believe an impound vehicle stripped & searched. Most all parts were there to put it back together as well as I had a wrecked 2020 donor almost identical that I combined the interior parts. Only the interior was out, all else had not been touched. I put it all back together. It runs but has multiple codes , radio will not come on at all and no buttons on the steering wheel worked. I found that the clock spring was bad so I pulled the steering wheel and installed a new one. I still cannot find what powers the radio & cruise control/LKAS. The hill climbing alert, along with others alert on the dash and runs as in LIMP mode. I wonder if I missed a relay or harness plug to power up something for it to communicate. All the fuses are in and appear fine. Any help or direction to look would be greatly appreciated. I even bought a day subscription to infotech.honda but could not find my issue/issues. Thanks in advance
I'm not sure about the newer ones. In the past, if you went to Honda, and showed them your vin and proof of ownership, they would give you a code to unlock the radio. For instance, if the battery was unplugged. The buttons on the steering wheel might be operated though the radio. So if you get the radio working, maybe the steering wheel functions will start working as well. I think you press presets 1 & 6 on the old radios to get the serial number to give to a Honda service tech or parts man to look up.
