Hi all, first time posting. I have the 2011 Civic Ex L. It’s a rebuilt, and of course, it has issues as to be expected from a crappy rebuilder. Well, after the passenger front tire went bad I was sure it was either the control arm or something like that. Turns out the control arm wasn’t even bolted in place. So desperately trying to get some bolts to help me until I can do a total replacement of the arm and possibly other parts. Issue is, no one carries this bolt. See, the bolts are missing entirely
Can I get one at Lowe’s? Just for a temporary fix? Has to be better than riding with a hanging control arm even if it isn’t perfect and/or the arm itself needs to be replaced. Thanks!
The bolt for the lower control arm IS present in your photo... the front bushing is destroyed and needs to be replaced. The two bolt holes in the cradle bracket do not have bolts in them in this application... the threaded holes behind this bracket are in the oil pan and would not bolt directly to the chassis. There would be a rubber mount between the pan and bracket.
