Default 89 Crx Si D15b swap idle issues

Last year bought a 89 CrX with no breaks lights and idle issues fixed all but idle. Was told from previous owner it was a TPS sensor replaced that but cracked the throttle body in the process. The car no longer had a jumping idle now it just idled at like 3k like it had a huge vaccum leak. I figured it was just the broken throttle body so i finally ordered it and installed it started the car and the idle starting jumping like it used to. So i thought maybe since it was just a huge vaccuum lt was bypassing the IACV so ordered one of those and installed it and nothing was fixed same issue. Bleed the coolant correctly only things i haven’t messed with was the FICV. Any advice on what to do next i have a smoke machine to check for vacuum leaks i thought about trying to cause along with the idle when i give it gas or let the clutch out it feels like it’s gonna die and bulks really hard pretty much have to rev it up to like 4k to take off and keep it there or else it’s bucks really bad.

You have lots and lots of variables that mess with the idle that you have modified. Any one of them may have not been set correctly. The TPS is one that many people mess with and never get right. Its been along time since I've worked with civics, but since no one else answered yet. If you take off your intake hose from your throttle body. (be careful not to let any debris into your running engine.) On the filter side of the throttle body, with the throttle plate closed, you will see a hole. If you FIV or IACV is messed up and surging your idle, you can cover that hole slightly with your finger when the engine is running to help you diagnose which one of the valves is causing your surging. You can gently spray starter fluid or wd40 around your engine bay while the engine is running to check for vacuum leaks. The engine will raise rpms as it combusts the starting fluid it sucked in.

Once you replace one of the items that affects your idle, you need to do a idle relearn procedure for your computer.
