You are wrong. The HP will not be almost doubled last time i checked the h22a didn't have 260hp.

MSD is crap man, save your money. You don't need that ****.

stock Honda ignitions are very good and can handle quite a bit.

when you swap you still will have factory horsepower, it'll just be the h22a's horespower.

i would say to keep stock ignition, unless you plan on turbo or nitrous, or one hell of an NA setup.
I have the MSD 6AL system on mine with the coil. To be honest, when i'm not sprayin' it feels the same, just a little more responsive. On the other hand, it made a night and day difference on the bottle.
make your own choice, depending on what you plan to do, after the swap.

BTW, If you do choose to get it, the MSD SCI is just a 6A with a different case to help sales in the import market.

I bought the 6A and a mallory coil a year ago after my distributor gernaded. It made my car a bit more responsive... but no real gains from it. I think it costed 99 dollars for the mallory pro-master coil, and 140 for the MSD 6A ignition box. I mounted it under the glove box... and when the radio is off... i can hear it buzzing and clicking away. Was it worth it? I guess it depends on how you look at it. I needed a new coil anyways... and the dealer would have charged me just as much for the ignitor, coil, and reluctors. So in a sense, I guess it saved me some money. Would I have bought it otherwise? Probably not.
