Hey everyone,

So, I've got this 2009 Honda CR-V LX, and lately, I've been noticing some weird noises while driving, especially when I have the A/C on and the power steering pump kicks in. It's this sporadic rattling sound that's been bugging me. After some investigating, I figured out that it's coming from the belt tensioner bouncing around when those systems are engaged.

But that's not all. My car's been idling rougher than I'm used to lately, and when I decided to check out each bearing, I found something odd with the water pump. It's making this weird noise when I spin it manually. Should a water pump spin freely?

I already replaced the power steering pump and the belt tensioner pulley, and while checking the other pulleys, they seemed fine with no wobble. But that noise persists with the water pump.

So, here's my dilemma: Should I tackle the water pump next? Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!
