Quadruple issue but are they related?
Hello, I'm new to this forum but not new to Hondas, having owned a total of 19 of them, all manual transmission cars. ranging from Accords thru Civics, CRV's and a Passport. About half were purchased new and the rest as lease sales. I have put 300k+ miles on all but 2 of them and the 2 I currently own. I have done all my own service work throughout the years after having a very negative dealer service experience in 1985. I've rebuilt one engine, changed 1 transmission and clutch, many timing belts, routine maintenance items, and even an AC system. The problem I'm currently stumped at now pertains to my 2013 Accord Sport. The vehicle has 263k+ miles on it and the key stopped turning in the column. I removed the key cylinder and replaced a bent "pin" in the cylinder and reinstalled it. The car starts fine, key turns fine, but the TMS light, EPS light, and Traction control lights will not go off when the car is running. The alignment of the backup camera is off. I'm sure these all have something in common and I'm convinced it's electrical in nature, dealing with something in the steering column. I do not have an electrical schematic for this car. I think it could be a grounding issue but I'm not sure where or why. At least the idiot lights must be in the same plug in the column but which one? Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to get another couple of hundred thousand miles out of this car because it runs like a top and has averaged 35+ mpg for all miles since day one (purchased new in February 2014).
