Up for sale is my beloved Golden Eagle Sleeved + O-ringed bare b16a2 block - 84mm bore - with the original OEM matching main caps and studs. The block was professionally built by Golden Eagle. So it was done right! I estimate that this engine was run for ~50K miles. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pistons) and a fresh hone and it's ready to take all the power you can throw at it!

  • NO spun bearings, ever.
  • NO seized pistons, ever.
  • ALWAYS used fully synthetic oil (Mobil 1)
  • ALWAYS used a high quality air filter

This is a great & stout engine block as the core for your build. 1200hp+ capable. Any questions just reach out. Thx for looking!

TL;DR; - The block was bought from hmotorsonline back in the day (early 00's) and run in stock form for a while, then packed up and shipped to Golden Eagle Mfg. in California who gave it a full makeover - the block was cleaned and bead blasted for a fine finish. New sleeves, bore/deck/hone/build with new Arias 84mm pistons/rings and Eagle rods, new bearings and seals all around. Oil squirter block off kit + O-ring option for better head seal. The engine was never blown, never spun any bearings or seized any pistons. I always ran top quality oil and a quality air filter to keep grit out of the cylinders. It was pushed to close to 600 HP but not much higher and never sniffed or sneezed. There was no need to wonder if the block would hold together, since I knew I had the stoutest insurance one can have at the core of my project. I’m including a roll of copper O-ring wire provided by GE themselves for fitment guarantee. Drainback fitting is installed in the OEM freeze plug location - can be capped or re-plugged if desired. The half shaft bolt threads were professionally helicoil'd to a larger standard thread (bolts will be included) several years ago and have not given me trouble. All other threads are clean and straight. The block powered one of the funnest cars I've ever driven. It's simply time for me to give another platform a try, but B-series blocks will always be special to me. Thx!
