I just got my hands on a 1987 d16a1 and im planning to rebuild it with forged internals because im going to be turboing it. I've done research on what parts I should be buying for my engine but I've gotten a little confused. The most informative post I've found has told me to go with Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods. So I went to Wiseco's website and searched for my engines parts and they only had d16zc pistons, same with Eagle. I know that I will have to bore out my d16a1 to fit the pistons, but other than that will these parts fit my engine?

Another question I had was about the head. I have the brown top d16a1, which i've heard isn't very suited for high compression. Should I swap my head to a black top d16a1 or should I buy after market parts for the head I already have?
