Code P0088.
Hi, my name is Shay and I own a 2014 Honda Accord 2.4. Recently, my car displayed a fault code P0088, which indicated a problem with the high pressure fuel pump. I got it replaced, but the car still has the same issue. I also had the fuel rail sensor replaced, but that didn't solve the problem either. I took my car to the Honda dealership, and they charged me $1,600 for fixing things that didn't work. Another mechanic suggested that it could be a problem with the catalytic converter, but there's no fault code for that. It has been four months, and my car is still out of order. Please help me with this issue. I have attached an image showing the parts that have been replaced so far. Thank you.

The stretched chains have a direct effect on the HP pump.
Testing and or tear down willl be needed to determine the actual cause, however.

Hi Shay, Did you follow up by getting the timing chain checked for the issue you've had with teh accord. I too have replaced the High pressure fuel pump, the Fuel Rail, the Fuel Sensor and the problem still remains. It keeps going into Limp mode. I am reading the timing chain issue is directly related to his code depsite the OBD2 reader not showing any codes for it. I am now at the point of considering havoing the timing chain replaced. Since it'll cost me to get the timing chain checked, I might as well bite the bullet and get it replaced since the valve cover will be opened. Please let me know if you had the car chekced for chain strecth
