Should i use drag radials with the base rims or get other rims to run on the track? Im running a good shot of NOS and want to do some damage on the track.

 

i used a set of NT555R drag radials on my stock 16s, i was running a 75 shot of ZEX, but i never adjusted my tire pressure like i should have, they hooked up decent, but i never did get a good launch

 

I used/use Nitto Drag Radial 225/50 on my stock 16" rims work fine.

 

225/50's are some tall *** tires....didn't that cost you top end??

EDIT: my thinking is backwards...they would cost you acceleration...

I have a JRSC so it's not that bad on acceleration but i need the traction off the line baaaddd.

 

I use 205/45/16 555r's on my stock rims. The hooked up great when I had bolt ons, seem to hook up decently with the supercharger. ChargedLude97, what kind of times have you run in the 1/4 mile?

Well with a 2.3 60ft from wheel hoping I got a 14.4 at 4800 elevation. not really that good...on the next run I had a better launch but blew 2nd gear, fixed that. Went back to track and broke stock diff and axle(input shaft) with alot of other things, now that's fixed and have a lsd but the tracks closed.
