Default Engine swap compatibility

I am absolutely certain this has been flogged to death but I can't find it. I have a mint k24A8 that I'd like to install in an 02 crv with the k24A1 that's using oil. I have no issue changing sensors, etc, whatever is nesessary within reason. Around here a JDM A1 runs around 1800 bucks so if I can repurpose this one it'd be great. Thanks in advance

Probably going to be an intake manifold swap and the rest should work.

Not 100% sure on the coolant block situation on the transmission end of the head. Those were frequently updated and changed.

My main concern is that the cams are the same. Everything else is, with exception of the intake and possibly the thermocase.

Why do the cams need to be the same?

Don't know if it matters. The '02 ecu might not be compatible with the A8? That's why I'm asking. I can't be the only one who's wanted to do this swap

Close enough to probably not matter. They are both ~160hp. Fuel system is capable of adjusting +/-20% without complaining.
