This is right under the other picture


where should I be looking for this leak? Someone told me head gasket…

2000 crv 2.0l

other issues are:
coolant reservoir tank is basically black, and it smells.
Radiator cap has a rust looking sludge on it.

Oil is not milky, there is no weird color exhaust, it is not overheating( in fact it’s under the halfway mark and maintained that temperature on a 4 hour drive, 70-80mph)

The engine runs like a sewing machine, there’s a vibration but I know there are cracked motor mounts so I believe that’s the culprit for the vibration.

I just bought a timing kit/ crank and cam seals, oil pan gasket, what can I do while I have everything apart to diagnose wherever else it’s leaking? What else should I fix, etc?

 

You gonna have to give us more information. What year and engine?

Pictures half way look like the old 98-01 CR-V with a 2.0 gas burner.

Probably years and years of valve cover seepage and no one bothering to clean it.
