96 Civic EX: Sudden 'bumpy" ride.
Cars been running fine, until on the way home today, on a flat smooth highway, it suddenly felt like I got a flat tire in the back I presumed, as the steering felt OK.
It had suddenly felt like I was going over bumps, so I pulled over to check it out, but there was no flat, & all wheels seemed secure.
I managed to get home doing 30MPH; jacked it up, and all wheels turn free, tried shaking, moving the wheels but no loose play evident, 35 PSI inflation all around, plenty of tread, and no sign of bulges that I could see.
I let it back down, and pushed down hard both sides, back & front and no dip or bounce, so shocks seem ok. I was going to try a test drive, but even going slow on my dirt driveway it feels like it's going over bumps; and I can't be sure whether it's in the front or the rear, although as I stated, I didn't notice any problems with the steering when driving it home.
So, I'm completely baffled as to the cause???

Thanks for the reply.
Possibly wheel weight, as it occurred quite suddenly, so something surely failed, but even driving slowly, about 10 MPH over my dirt driveway, & it felt 'clunky", so not sure if a missing weight would matter at that slow a speed?.
Tomorrow, I'll take it out on the hard road, check it out at different speeds & puzzle myself some more.
I've got AAA, so I may have them tow it to Firestone, but I sure like to know exactly what the problem is before taking it in for repair!
