Default 2006 Honda Accord Coupe- Can’t get into car!!!

I’ve had my 06 Honda Accord for 14 years, but stopped driving it daily around 2020, and then stopped driving it completely in November of last year. Around Sept/Oct 2023 the car was driving really rough, and then wouldn’t start so I replaced the battery since it had been 3-4 years since I last did so. Got new battery, but car was still driving funky, almost sounded/vibrated like it was revving (without actually revving) when stopped at lights, and then wouldn’t start randomly again. Got the codes and my friend replaced the two items and the Honda was driving like a dream (Oct 2023). In November I inherited a newer car so the Honda was parked for a month+ without being started/driven at all (I know, I know..), and the next time I went to drive it, it wouldn’t start. The lights/radio were coming on, no clicking or noise when turning the key in the ignition, but it wouldn’t turn over. My friend told me to see if I could jump it and maybe the “new” battery just needed to be charged since I let it sit for so long, otherwise he was thinking starter or alternator. Two weeks ago I was anle to get inside the car without any issues, tried jumping it, but still wouldn’t turn over (all lights and radio work, but battery light on dash also turned on). Last week my friend comes by to check it out for himself to see if he can determine what’s going on, and the car won’t unlock at all - the key would go in, but wouldn’t turn and the fob wouldn’t unlock/lock/anything.

So now I’m completely locked out of the car! I called a couple locksmiths but they said that since it not that the fob needs to be recoded or a new key needs to cut, all they’d be able to do is break into it for me. It sounds like something mechanical is totally out of whack and the Honda is obviously very upset that I have a new car.

TL;DR: Honda door won’t unlock using actual key or fob. HELP!
