Hi, I bought this car September and I've been fiddling around with it here and there well. When check engine light popped up the code P1298 came up for high voltage and my car headlights also dim while I drive. I installed touch screen radio in there. And it started smoking. After being hooked up for 4 days This is my first Honda ever owned. I was told to replace ELD In the Fuse box underneath the hood. Will that fix my high voltage problem or Am I going to have to do some research before I buy that ELD

 

What is the vehice year and model?
remove the radio and see if the problem persists. More info is better.

 

It's a 2002 Honda civic but the headlights dim Also, it's not the radio. Because at the moment there is no radio inside center console I have a eld coming through ebay for the fuse box under the hood
