Hello everyone, need some help with my 93 EJ1 please.

Read through the threads, but don't think it's the coil, let me explain what's going on.

Had my air conditioner tensioner sease on me and break the belt, took it to my mechanic who proceeded to change itand the tensioner, he also put in a new transmission pump. A few days later it started shutting off and the check engine light goes on, I pull over let it rest and it fires up again. Any ideas on what might be going on? Thank you so much for your help

 

Since it only started doing this when the timing belt broke and was replaced and everything was fine before it broke then I would look to see if the timing belt skipped/jumper a tooth.
