Low Pitch Humming under Acceleration/Deceleration
- 1994 Del Sol SI with stock intake and exhaust.
- I just bought the car a month ago. It needed a new muffler, which I replaced.
- The humming is so loud that I can feel it, and it causes all sorts of annoying interior vibrations when accelerating and decelerating.
- The only time when there are no vibrations is when its moving at a constant speed with constant throttle position.
- The first week I had the car, it had no muffler and interestingly, it wasn't as loud as you would expect.
- I'm wondering if it could be a problem with the resonator, or the cat?
