Hi, I am trying to find an aftermarket warning indicator alarm. My headlight on indicator alarm has not worked for years and I'm tired of having to jump start my vehicle every time it dies because I forgot to turn the lights off.
I bought one decades ago for a different car but I have no idea what it is called. Does anybody know?
Or know where to get one? (Cheap)
​​​​​According to my Honda serviceman, the original one is inreparable.
So I would like to get something that will warn me when I leave the headlights on and possibly even keys in the ignition.

On a side note; My interior lights also don't seem to want to go on when the doors open. They still work when I switch them to on but I would like them to work in the automatic position as well please.

 

Regarding the headlight on beeper, check the driver's door switch.

The door switch is held in with one screw. Pry the round cover off to access the screw. Remove the switch, then touch the wire for the door switch to unpainted body chassis or a ground point. Test if the headlight on beeper works with the key in the ignition and headlights turned on. (Be careful not to drop the unattached wire into the hole for the door switch.)



There should still be aftermarket headlight-on beepers available if your issue is not related to the door switch.

 

I have replaced these on my 02 and the OEM parts were not that expensive.
