I have a 1999 Honda accord EX. Its a 4 cylinder. When I bought the car I didnt notice but theres a spot that looks like its for the Transmission fluid dipstick and whatever goes there is missing and has been since I bought the car a year ago. The thing is, everyone has told me Manual cars dont have a dipstick. But even today I took it to get an oil change and asked about it and even they told me it looks like its for a transmission fluid dipstick. Does anyone else know what this could be? Can’t get help from anyone. Asked honda if they could check it out but they want to charge me $180 just for them to tell me whether its for a dipstick or not. I cant find a plug for it at autozone or Oreileys and am completely stuck. Anyone?

 

That's just a breather for the transmission. It should have a small rubber cap on it.
