No flow to upper radiator hose, water pump checked, good, new thermostat, flushed rad
Would anyone know what to check next? I have a warm upper hose but cold lower hose, we flushed it, left the t stat out and the car just wouldn’t warm up, we had flow through all hoses after we put everything back together without the t stat, when we installed the t stat it started to overheat but not too badly, it sat at an average of 243 degrees and it got up to 273, any suggestions or advice helps, Thanks in advance!
Also, I’m going to reference an old thread that had the same issue just didn’t say the fix https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...-hose-3076040/

Okay simple things is the thermostat pointing the right direction?
is a radiator Frozen are you working in a cold condition?
do you have the right proportion of coolant in?
can you notice that the pulley on the water pump is moving?

If you disconnect the smaller hose above the thermostat and bridge in a piece of clear hose , turn the heat on full you'll see water circulating if coolant is full , rev the engine to see if there's anything to indicate water pump and coolant level are good . It's also a good spot to burp the system
