2004 Honda Accord EX v6 cranks but doesnt start
Good evening! i have a 2004 honda accord ex v6 that cranks but wont start, it seems that its getting fuel just fine and ive checked the fuses, i took out the coil packs and tested them and it seems that they're not getting any spark, ive tested all the coils packs on the front, then tested 1 in the back and it received spark, i did this with one from the front so i can get accurate results and i know the coils packs arent bad as they are semi new and i tested them w the old ones i had for the vehicle. I checked the ignition coil relay under the driver side kick panel but thats not the problem as the relay is still clicking.
I genuinely have no idea what to do from this point on as I have a new car and want to sell it so i can "recoup" some of my losses but I don't want to sell it if it cant run.
And for some backstory, after picking up my friend from work, i decided to stop at the gas station because i was running on E, and once i turned off my car, filled up, and tried to start it, all it would do is crank and not start. My presumption was that i overheated the fuel pump from running it on E but i have tested out a new one i pulled from the junkyard and the old it seems like it still works when I run power through it, but i put the newer one in anyways just incase
I will try running more tests such as checking all of them in the back with different spark plugs and different coil packs to see if i still get spark but i have no idea after that.
Is it possible the crankshaft position sensor is faulty and is causing no spark, if so, wouldn't a CEL come on and it would pop up but so far i haven't got anything on my dashboard, Ive run it multiple times w an OBD2 scanner to check for codes but nothing pops up.
