I just bought a ek coupe shell and swapped My obd1 b20v from my eg9

Car starts up fine with fuel pump relay 5-7 pin bridged

I do not have rpm neither speedo and vtec doesn't engage

any solutions?

 

What year ‘EK’?

 

Your vtec is out because of having no speed. Or a corroded connector at the speed sensor. 96-00 civic get there rpm from the ecu. So youll have some wiring to do

 

For the tacho - jump the ICM pin to the NEP pin right at the ecu and you will have rpm.

I don't think you're going to have a proper working swap using any obd2 ecus, go obd1.

blue wire on distributor goes in the rpm test connector

Vss signal wire to ecu and from the ecu to the cluster? Ori is it already pinned

 

Vss should be fine wiring wise. Check the sensor or connector at the sensor.

Blue wire on dist could go to tach if you want to work hard. Like spAdam says, jump the ICM to NEP pin (on obd2 harness) right at the ecu.
