My buddy just bought a 92 civic hatch that we thought was just a base hatch with some stuff done to it low and behold KBB and the vin decoder on here have revealed it is a Canadian SI but entire interior is white and gray leather and all the head rest have SIR along with the floor mats we are kinda new to the honda world and any information on how to tell if this car is a SI or SiR are greatly appreciated i seen they only made the Canadian hatch Si in 92/93 does this make the care rare or no ?
EDIT: car has what i believe is a d16y8 if that makes any difference

 

People modify Hondas every day... and a 5G Civic H/B is a real common one. If you are thinking that this car could be rare because of something that you have in the interior... you are assuming that it came there from the factory. Since no '92-95 Civic came equipped with a D16Y8 engine... you already KNOW that this car has been modified. Grey/White leather... NOT stock.
