who knows a good mechanic or shop in or near gainesville fl
hey guys, just want to know someone local i can talk to about somthing that the dealership cant seem to figure out (shocking that the dealership doesnt know, right?). anyway, im not real familiar with the area, and im looking for a good local tuner. thanks for any help, post here or email at andrewasf77@yahoo.com
...don't know about Gainesville but, I heard about good tuners in the Orlando area. What do you need to do to your R?
...uuumm, let me do some findings and I keep you posted. Besides, hit Marc "RealTypeR". He knows the area better than me.

PM about a Shop/Mechanic in Bradenton, I am not sure if he wants it on the internet, very nice and great work, not cheap, but the quality is outstanding, he did the swap on my car and lots of other work. Specializes in Honda/Acura.

andrew: what do you need help with?
well im really not sure the exact problem, but there is some sort of "hicup" around 7200 rpms. not sure what is or even could cause this. it has been to the dealership twice, and they cant find anything. i was thinking it might be the distributor, or maybe the car is running rich and fouling a plug or something. i really have no idea, the cel is on, but only code 67, which i understand is nothing. it doesnt do it all the time and i cant seem to see a pattern, im really at a loss right now
a hesitation, not a misfire, the ecu isnt storing any misfire codes, not always at 7200, but never below 7200

the car has 53k miles, the ignition componets have never been replaced, btw what are the important componets?
Sebring's slow right now. Enyoing the nice new weather and not too much time $$$ to track for now
no time, desire or extra money to track right now for me :~

and timing belt etc since I'm at ~60k
Andrew should try to change the sparkplugs and check on the plug wires. If you have stock Honda wires, I doubt you have problems with them at that mileage.
yea, the plug wires are stock, whats a good plug to buy, ill just replace mine and see if that helps

just keep using the stock NGK platinums. There are tons of threads about it and even the tuner members agree it is the best choice. -Fresh NGKs baby!-
hey, thanks guys for bearing with the probably boring questions, but im still a newbie, but working on my own car is really fun
