hello my 97 del sol is jerking at 1500 rpm’s seems to be a common issue however the B16 engine is not original it came from a 89 acura integra. I already switched out the MAP sensor and IACvalve it seemed to minimize the issue but without a doubt the car is still jerking very badly.

it also will have issues going uphills the speedometer will stop working only when going uphill. it has some issue giving acceleration. i’m wondering if anyone has actually solved this issue i’ve heard it can be the ignition coil, or distributor or maybe does the ECU need to be reprogrammed? thanks please advise.

My del sol is 97 basic s model but the engine is B16 A2 V tech
