Looking to Buy Civic - wierd noise on acceleration
I test drove this car today: https://skylinetacoma.com/inventory/...c-DX-4dr-Sedan
The car drove great but I noticed a wierd buzzing noise in 1st gear, only when giving it gas. It kind of sounded like a turbine but also kind of like a baseball card hitting the spokes of a bicycle. No vibrations. No noise when coasting. No noise when in neutral and revving the engine.
I've heard lots of noises before but nothing like this. I think it must be in the drive train somewhere. I just want to rule-out the possibility of a transmission going bad. I can deal with a bad bearing or CV joint.

I recorded the noise.... Is this what a bad input shaft bearing sounds like? I actually can hear the noise in all gears under acceleration but most noticeable at slower speeds.
