Default Boosted d17a1

I have a completely stock d17a1stock ecu that’s boasted with a t3/4 turbo kit I’m not trying to make crazy hp numbers I know theses engines are good for probably 200hp stock I’ve driven 300 miles with the turbo. I currently run it as low as the boost controller goes everything seems to work fine when I drive it normally/not getting in to boost, but when I do get in to boost about 4/6k rpm it Boggs down and starts to back fire as if it was on a 2step but when I let go of the gas slightly it it seems to pull. Like it only pulls hard with 1/4 throttle. I’ve tried a missing link setup and it seems to run better without it I’ve gapped the spark plugs to .20 and still has the same issue. I have some rsx injectors I’m going to put in in a couple days. And I know the car needs a stand-alone ecu/hondata to tune it but I’m currently saving up for it.I was wondering if my problem is the car just not having a tune or is it something else?
