I did a swap on my 97 civic but put another y7 in from a 2000 civic. The motor itself runs great but now I’m having to push my neutral safety switch in to get it to go into gear. It goes every once in a while without pushing it. But when I do get it into gear it won’t change gears. It stays in first. At one point it did change into 2nd but it revved to 6.5 rpm before it changed and wouldn’t change again. I’m hoping for some help bc I’m stumped on what the problem could be.
