Default No start after changing IACV

I have a D16Y8 with a Y7 manual ecu and Y7 harness. I recently got the car running with some help from a buddy of mine. The past 2 days I've been running it; the rpm's have been going up and down, up and down, etc., up to about 2.5k during idle, so I took the IACV off and cleaned it, put it back on, and started the car. The idle still does the same thing, but only goes up to about 1.5k rpm's, but still goes up and down. I then went and got a new iACV and replaced the old one, and now the car won't start. For what reason? I don't know. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: No start after changing IACV

Check you didn't knock the connector from the map sensor or split a hose.

Otherwise try resetting the ecu.

also my idle issues were the ficv below the tb not the iacv.

Easy job to clean and set up
