Hey guys I got a 1997 Honda Civic HX she has 235,000 miles the engine is knocking the transmission is grinding she's ******* down while driving. I've replaced the fuel filter the spark plugs the wires the EGR valve and getting ready to do the bank 2 O2 sensor downstream. I'm thinking I want to rebuild but I want to rebuild it for performance so I can put a turbo on it. So here's my question is it better to rebuild my d series would it be better to swap to a B or a K series? I'm new to the Honda world this is my first Honda I've designed it built it myself but I need help when it comes to engine work. Are the mounts going to work for a k or B series engine? And I also have to rebuild the transmission right I think it's about to go out anyway. Any comments suggestion advice from the pro Honda people would be appreciated thanks in advance.
