I have a 2013 honda oddessey with 185000 miles. I have misfires on cylinders 2 and 6 after running for about 30 seconds. It runs perfectly for about 30 seconds after starting, then suddenly begins to misfire on those cylinders. I also had a crankshaft position sensor code, so I replaced that sensor. That code hasn't returned but I still have misfires on 2 and 6. I switched coils and plugs around from other cylinders and the misfire always stays on 2 and 6 so I dont think it's a coil or plug issue. Any help?

 

When was the last time you changed the plugs?

 

I dont think the problem is with the coils or plugs because I've switched them around on multiple cylinders and the misfire still always shows up on cylinders 2 and 6. The van also runs fine for about 30 seconds each time I start it before the misfires start again. Maybe electric issue or relay??

 

Have you done a compression test? What did the plug look like on that cylinder?

 

I did not test compression, but it runs perfect for about 30 seconds every time I start it. Sometimes even a bit longer. The plugs I pulled out look fine. (Not my van and I dont know when they were last replaced)

 

Check the injector plugs as well.
