After you sign in to the message boards, just go back into the registry to add.

Why couldn't the old database be imported in?

 

I guess we might as well update this in a way. We should add the list of wrecked or stolen ITR's in there.

 

The old database was corrupted by non-ITRs.

It's only a matter of time before people start making up #s, stealing other people's #s, etc.

Already, I see Paul Vaughan entered his car twice by accident it seems.

 

I can as soon as you figure a way to . . .

1) Eliminate eroneous entries.

2) Link users with their cars. If somoene went to edit a car that already existed there woudl be no way to know what users it went to and they would be unable to edit any info at this point. We may figure out something but at this point getting the registry functioning was the main priority. It still isn't where we woudl like for it to be but we are continuing to work on it.

3) I said it in an earlier post I believe. If you need info from the last registry I can try and pull it up for you. I do have that info but it's format is very scattered. We didn't lose the info but re-entering it has to date proved to be the most practical way to rebuild.

 

Somewhat. We are working on making it more difficult realizing it will basically be impossible to stop it from happening.

 

Very true. We are refining the administration control panel opf the registry. I will get Paul's out as he has already contacted me. It will be up to all the members to report suspected false entries so we can look into them.
