We have a 2018 CRV that intermittently will not even light up the dashboard when trying to start it. My wife said that that she presses the button with the brake on and nothing. Does this 4 or 5 times then it will finally act normally. The FOB battery is new (no indicator shows and battery is almost new) and the car battery is less than a year old. I have yet to make it happen, but she was almost stranded yesterday with it. I want to see if it's a problem with the button, but she says the button doesn't even light up when she presses the brake. I feel then something else is happening. (Just give me back a real key! I can diagnose that!) I don't want to just give it to Honda because it won't do it for them and they will say they can't find anything or just throw parts at it. Thanks for the help!
