Car doesnt want to turn on sometimes.
Ok it acted like it didnt want to start when i had my d15 in there now i swapped that out and put in the b18 and it did the same thing to me today. The only thing that stayed in the car from the previous swap was the radiator, clutch and brake reservoir and the battery. I'm gonna get a new battery this week to see if it solves the problem. This only happens when i leave work. It doesnt happen in the morning(knock on wood)
Here's what happens. I turn the key the car starts then shuts off. I turn the key again and the battery light flashes the oil light goes off and the brake light comes on(the e brake is down) Can you think of any think?

Re: (phanatic)
try boosting it or puting a jumper pack on it, leave it on for like 10 min and see how it is? Or with the new batt see how it is, if it's still giving u problems, might wanna look into the alternator :-\ -- Seems like some **** the alternator would pull (not charging the battery all the time, random lights....blah), let us know how u make out

Re: (Syndacate)
It starts if you give it gas? You check the timing? maybe even try another ECU if u have one...
timing is good so is the ecu. Remember i swapped the engine out

Different alternator but the same battery. It's a different engine

doesn't mean the alternator can't be bad, tell us how it is after the battery swap, if it's still pulling crap, I would temporarily swap the alternator just to see if anything changes....
