Default Tachometer into 1989 honda civic (d15b2)

Kind of a noob question, but I'm having trouble wiring a sunpro tachometer into my car, I've read that you are supposed to wire it into the blue wire coming off the distributor, and I've also heard that you have to wire it onto a white and green wire (that isn't there for me) I've tried wiring it to what I assume is both. Help?

Tachometer signal is from the blue wire at the 2-P connector, C105.

You could save a lot of trouble and tie it into the blue wire going into the back of your gauge cluster.
