Dying after warm up
In this last year we picked up a 93 coupe EX, Y8 swap, and it's been really solid so far, threw my old wheels on and quickly fabbed heat shield I built for the plastic hot air intake that it came with however we came across an issue after my father used it for work, i went to leave and after warm up it slowly died, we tried two different spare ignition coils, changed ECT, and tried 2 spare icms i had in my stash(toolbox) with no change. Fuel pump priming again after dying tells me it's not ECU, and I hear the main relay so I think it's another part in the dizzy (ignitor, tdc, etc), but before I jump the gun and buy a new one (if i cant find one at the junkyard friday) does anyone have any helpful insight to point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance.
Update I think I have discovered my issue, according to this post I should have bought a dizzy from a 92-95 and used those internals in my old Y7/Y8 dizzy housing, as I am using the obd1 ecu that came with it, simply using an obd2 dizzy would not work, but any advice is still much appreciated
Edit: Dizzy is installed with obd1 internals and still nothing but I finally got the CEL that we had before it died to return and checked it, it's a IACV code but I'm unsure if that would cause it to not spark
