Default 2001 Honda accord LX Front Passenger window only goes down

Recently we rolled the front passenger window halfway on our 2001 Honda accord LX and when we tried to roll it back up it wouldn't move up. From either the switch at the passenger door or from the master driver switch. They both will allow it to go down, but not up. You can hear a bit of clicking from either and nothing. I ended up replacing the motor and regulator, but when i tried to roll up to attach the window, it only went down again from either switch. I tried to do a reset but nothing seemed to happen. Also checked all the fuses. Trying to figure out if given the issue i should just replace the master switch or the passenger switch. I just don't want to keep throwing money at the wrong thing.

Have you load tested the wiring to make sure the wires arent grounding out? If I'm correct the wires switch polarity based on which way the switch is pressed. You could have a grounding out wire that grounds correctly when going down but when it's going up it shorts to ground due to a break in the sleeving
