NO Programed Key
Hello. I bought a 2001 Honda Accord recently. The problem is the ignition was changed and the new key was not programed to the car. And the original key was unprogramed. So my question is will an immobilizer bypass and remote starter work to be able to start the car? I have a key that turns the ignition but it is not programed to the car. Can someone help. Thanks
Buy this here and program the key yourself.
Autel MaxiAP AP200 OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth Wireless OBDII Auto Diagnostic Tool with Full System Diagnostic, 19 Reset Functions, AutoVIN, Check Engine Light Code Reader for iPhone Android https://a.co/d/a0yMppM
Besides being able to program the key it is a pretty powerful obd scanner as well.
There is an option in there while you are programming the key to erase all keys, basically reset the immobilizer and start with a new code.
