I want to drive my car !!!!
I purchased a 2002 accord ex V6 a few months ago . Having prior knowledge that something was wrong with the transmission. Since I’ve had it I’ve only got it to go into reverse one .. no forward yet.. I replaced the clutches but did not go into the valve body itself at all. Put it back in .. still nothing .. took it back out replaced the torque converter .. still nothing ...It goes through the gears very smooth . Not hard to shift at all.. which I think is kinda weird..cause I know with every other vehicle I’ve ever owned when u shift gears the motor makes somekind of movement..when the front end is up on jack stands I can crank it drop it into d4 push the gas and the front wheels rotate and stop perfect .. but then when I put it in reverse the wheels rotate forward instead of backward ??? As soon as I drop the car .. crank it .. drop into gear and nothing it won’t move a inch ??? I Also replace the rear main seals and both right and left side axles. Can anyone please give me some advise on what the problem could be ??? I’ll appreciate any advice anyone can give . Thank you for taking the time to read this !!
Being this specific into a transmission, you may have to ask a transmission shop. It doesn't sound like a computer issue, unless it thinks reverse is 1st gear. But with not putting power to the ground, I would have thought it to be the clutches as well.
