I’ve got a friend who’s selling his elderly in-laws 1978 CVCC 5-speed. Basically a “barn find” type car. I don’t have all the details yet but they’re the original owners, it’s in excellent cosmetic condition, garaged its whole life, about 55k on the odometer and it’s been sitting for maybe 15-20 years undriven. Any recommendations for first steps in safely getting it started? I don’t live in the area (Asheville NC) but I’m thinking of towing it to a local mechanic and having them take care of what it needs. Then I can drive it down to FL where I live.

I’m familiar with older Toyotas but not Hondas and I’m looking for any things to look out for or be wary of. Thank you!
